Little Tennessee Valley Educational Cooperative is excited to announce that we will be accepting applications for our GENERATE STEAM teacher scholarship!

LTVEC is a public nonprofit agency formed by local school systems in East Tennessee. The agency is governed by a board of directors including member school system directors, school board members, and county commissioners. LTVEC promotes collaboration among member school systems to develop and provide needed educational services in the region as well as the state. The cooperative provides a variety of services to member and non-member school systems in East Tennessee and throughout the state. 

LTVEC will be accepting applications for the scholarship beginning on September 8, 2017. The application deadline is September 21, 2017. 

Grants will be given with awards ranging from $200 to $500. 

Results will be announced on October 6, 2017 on our web site http://www.ltvec.org/. 

Money will be distributed by October 16, 2017.  

Requirements are as follows:

Applicants must be a pre-K-3rd grade teacher in a public school in Loudon, Monroe, Sweetwater, or Lenoir City.

Funds must be used in the classroom.

Application must be submitted by the deadline.

Scholarship Projects must be related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and/or Math. 

(Project does not have to be inclusive of all subjects)

Selection process:

Teachers who show the greatest need for services.

 Projects with the widest impact.

Projects with the most detailed spending plan.
